What Do You Say?
What do you say to someone who hates themself? What do you say when they confide in you? How do you comfort a lost soul or help them to move on? What do you tell someone who is stuck in a pit that they themselves keep digging deeper and deeper? What advice can you utter when it falls on deaf ears? How do you help, what can you do, how do you cope, and what do you say, especially when that person is you?

I think it all depends on why they are like that...what has caused them to be like that. There is always a reason why they are like that...you just have to find it. And when you do find it...there is no "best" to help (but there are worst ways). I guess what i am trying to say is be a friend to them...help them thru it...but don't let them suck you into it.
If it's some1 that has lost a friend or family member...like i said, be there for them, pray for them, let them know that you are there for them. I have lost a few good friends in the past few years...and it is very hard to get over that, but you can't let it drag you down for a long time. And with some ppl it is much easier knowing that they are with our Savior. MercyMe said it the best in their song

So when we lose some1 we love...partially it is like the song said...we want to be with them...we want to be home with them.
